Senior Data Scientist (BioPharma)

Our biopharmaceutical British client is expanding its genomic data science capabilities to enable exploration of multi-vendor data, with the aim of providing insights into the genomic drivers of common diseases and facilitating the identification of novel therapeutic targets.

This role will ensure that you are working at the highest level of the scientific world, straight out of Cambridge. You will join an international team of 9 experienced data scientists and a front-end developer. Some of them have PhDs in various sciences such as biophysics, bioinformatics, mathematics or chemistry.

You can expect:

You will earn:

• on UoP: 15 400 - 18 600 PLN gross monthly,
• on B2B: 110 - 135 PLN+VAT/h

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• 4+ years of work experience as a Data Scientist and/or Machine Learning Engineer;
• Previous participation in a PhD programme or a PhD title (preferably in: Bioinformatics, Biotechnology or Mathematics);
• Proven experience in life sciences (biopharmaceutical) projects;
• Solid hands-on software programming skills in Python and writing machine learning algorithms;
• Proven experience in conducting scientific research and writing scientific publications;
• Profound knowledge of knowledge graphs, and natural language processing;
• Experienced in working in an international environment;
• Team player with an openness to discussion and collaboration, but also able to work independently when required;
• Passion for continuous learning and curiosity to solve complex problems;
• Fluent in English (C1) to work smoothly in an international team;
• Located in Poland for easy signing of occasional team meetings.
