Based in Sacramento, California, Trifecta is the largest meal delivery service made with organic ingredients in the US. We provide a variety of fully cooked meal options for customers to choose from that match their ideal dietary and lifestyle goals from paleo, keto, vegan, and clean eating. We ship weekly, nationwide for free. This is a full-time, salaried role with company benefits. We offer a competitive salary in a growth-focused & collaborative team environment.
We are looking for a Data Engineer to develop and maintain the data pipeline. The Data Engineer will help drive insights through reporting and analytics. They will be working cross-functionally with Engineering and Data Science.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and organize raw data
- Identify and implement internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automate manual processes
- Build required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources
- Build data systems and pipelines for actionable insight into key business performance metrics
- Work with internal teams to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues
- Conduct complex data analysis and report on results
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling
- Build algorithms and prototypes
- Combine raw information from different sources
- Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
Requirements
- You have 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Ability to build and optimize data sets, ‘big data’ data pipelines and architectures
- Experience working with and supporting data science teams
- Experience in cloud computing and architectures such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Significant experience with Python and SQL
- You are able to work with both technical and non-technical partners (presentations, expectation management, getting people on-board with ideas)
- Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid work environment)
