As a Data Analyst at our dynamic company, you'll play a crucial role in driving business efficiency and enhancing organizational processes. Reporting to the Senior VP, Business Intelligence, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, developing innovative solutions that will shape the future of our exciting venture.
What You'll Be Doing
Collaborating with various teams to refine and define essential business KPIs, ensuring we track what matters most.
Creating visually captivating reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate business performance to stakeholders at all levels.
Taking charge of reporting tools, ensuring we have the most accurate and up-to-date data at our fingertips.
Bridging the gap between technical and non-technical minds, as you confidently present and communicate technical information in a clear and engaging manner.
Unleashing your analytical prowess to perform data discovery, analysis, and modeling independently.
Identifying opportunities for process improvement, optimizing our operations, and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Testing and recommending improvements to various business processes.
Identifying automation opportunities that will streamline our operations and boost efficiency.
Supporting selected projects with your data-driven insights.
Delivering game-changing recommendations to key stakeholders, driving impactful decisions across the organization.
What You'll Need
A flair for technical writing and excellent verbal presentation skills.
Advanced skills in SQL to work your magic with data.
A sharp analytical mind and a knack for creative problem-solving.
Basic knowledge of inferential statistics, and experience with statistical software.
A talent for crafting visually appealing reports and data visualizations.
Proficiency using Excel and/or Google Sheets to work wonders with data manipulation and analysis.
Preferred Skills (Not Required, but a Big Plus!):
Proficiency in one or more common scripting languages, such as Python, PHP, JavaScript, or Ruby.
Experience with Business Intelligence visualization products like Tableau, Looker, Domo, or Amazon Quicksight. Prior experience with Quicksight would be fantastic!
Working knowledge of AWS tools, especially Lambda Functions, Step Functions, Sagemaker, Forecast, Personalize, EventBridge, API Gateway, Redshift, and S3.
Familiarity with Python statistics libraries and/or the statistical computing language R.
Experience with PostgreSQL RDBMS.
1+ years of experience as a business data analyst or in a similar role.
