The role would suit a Data or Software Engineer looking to transition in Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Opportunity As the Machine Learning Engineer, you will be: collaborating with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Data Analysts to turn AI prototypes into production systems, contributing towards the design, development and deployment of those solutions on a project basis, and managing and improving deployed models and SQL pieplines collaborating with digital areas to ensure reliability of those AI systems working on a range of projects across the business from Supply Chain to Marketing, and contributing to and improving overall team standards and best practice. driving best practices for data within Saint Gobain through use of new technologies, Machine Learning and AI. writing production grade SQL and Python for feature engineering and model pipelines, incorporating best practices such as packaging, unit testing, version control and logging developing and maintaining great working relationships with your team, projects stakeholders and clients. Skills and Experience Understanding of Python Data/ AI Stack (Pandas, Seaborn, Scikit Learn) Competent level of SQL and Python Cloud working experience Understanding of Git and Version control Good communication skills with both tech and non-tech audiences Bonus Skills and Experience Azure and Azure ML experience Python Deep Learning & HPC (Pytorch, Dask, PySpark) Advanced SQL and Data Engineering skills Aware of/ practised software development best practices Our client has expressed that they are not looking for you to have all of the skills and experience listed above.
