Your Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Responsible for the definition and technical coordination of the solution in an integral way

At IBM we are looking for the professional supporting the architecture, design and implementation of the solution to be developed.

• Analyze and organize raw data
• Create data systems and pipelines
• Assess business needs and objectives
• Interpret trends and patterns
• Perform complex data analysis and report on results
• Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive models
• Build algorithms and prototypes
• Combine raw information from different sources
• Explore ways to improve data quality and reliability
• Based on existing available data, suggests new ways to present the information for a better understanding of the reports current / new.
• Helps UI developers understand the data model and provide documentation on how to access data in an efficient way.
• Provides improvements over database tuning and replication when necessary.
• Define and manage KPis business and its evolution.
  
  

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Degree: Complete Higher Education, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or similar.
• More than 2 years of experience with ETL, data processing, database programming and data analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of Database Modeling.
• Understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation.
• Knowledge in the use of project traceability tools such as JIRA / MS Project.
• Knowledge of ETL tools such as Oracle Data Integrator, DataStage, Talend or Pentaho.
• Knowledge of building queries in environments: SQL Server, Oracle, Informix or DB2 will be valued.
• Python programming knowledge will be valued.
• Intermediate English

• Develop and implement innovative data solutions for advanced analytics and data processing. Define and build the data pipelines that will enable faster, better, data-informed decision making within the business.
  
  

Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAS, ETL, data processing, database programming, and data analysis.
  
  

Exclusive experience in Python for development.
