SQL/SAS Data Analyst

• SQL/SAS Data Analyst Wanted!* Our client a Big 5 Bank in Toronto is actively looking to hire a SQL/SAS Data Analyt with 1-3 years of hands on Data Analytics expeirence. This role specifically falls within Banking Analytics. This contractor will be responsible for supporting a project dealing with AML/KYC Data. The project is primarily (90%) being completed in SAS, so it is critical that the candidate has prior experience working with SAS. The candidate will responsible for working with various business partners to deploy this process via SAS, reviewing codes in SAS, investigating, and some QA work may be required. The candidate should also have strong skills/experience with SQL. *MUST HAVES:* 1) 2+ years SAS/SQL (writing queries and extracting data from tables) 2) Relevant work experience (ideally within an FI) 3) Ability to effectively communicate with business partners - run/attend project meetings *NICE TO HAVES:* 1) 1+ years Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire or related visualization tool 2) Programming knowledge in Python or R 3) Previous experience within an FI (ideally Banking) 4) Specific business knowledge in lending and deposits
