DESCRIPTION
Our data-driven culture has been the key to our consistent month-over-month growth, and we’ve stayed resourceful in leaning on a few of our team members to wear multiple hats in order to provide all of our teams with key data analyses. We’re now at the size where we are seeking a seasoned senior analyst to bring focus and efficiency to the shared responsibility of powering a data-driven culture.
You’ll provide the key analyses that our senior leadership need to design and execute on winning strategies. You’ll work alongside the team members currently performing the analyses to get up to speed, and then you’ll take over as our first full-time analytics lead.
The role will be a combination of:
Performing deep-dive analysis to answer difficult questions (such as ‘What behaviors do our highest-performing doctors do differently to keep our patients coming back?’) that help inform our product decisions (such as ‘how should we incentivize all of our doctors to take those same key behaviors?’), and- Identifying what ongoing dashboards and key metrics are needed by each department’s leadership in order to evaluate how well their teams are performing, and design processes for improvement, and
- Defining advanced metrics when they don’t already exist
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Conduct deep-dive analyses and experiments to help leadership answer the most pressing questions across Product, Growth, and Clinic Operations
- Identify strategic data needs understand what matters most to partner with senior leadership in building a data-driven culture across the company
- Perform exploratory analysis on the behavior of patients and providers
- Define advanced metrics to inform product and growth opportunities
- Collaborate closely with data analysts and data engineers to build analytics reports and dashboards that enable visibility into Circle’s operational efficiency, patient engagement, and key growth opportunities
- Establish Circle’s source of truth for measuring and defining key business metrics
- First act as a one-person team, and then hire and manage 1-2 additional team members to create additional bandwidth
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of industry experience using data to drive key decisions in product growth, business operations, or marketing analytics
- Strong curiosity to understand the business need behind analytics requests, asking key questions to identify which analytics requests have the most impact
- Track record of proactively engaging with business stakeholders with minimal guidance
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex results to technical and non-technical colleagues
- Proficiency in creating compelling visualizations to enhance understanding of complex data
- Advanced proficiency in data wrangling and SQL
- Passion for healthcare and technology
WHAT WILL GIVE YOU AN EDGE:
- Familiarity with the healthcare space
- Experience with BI tools like Looker or Metabase
- Familiarity with modern ETL and Data pipelines
- Experience performing data analysis with a programming language such as Python or R.
- Experience with hiring and/or people management
COMPENSATION
In alignment with our values, Circle Medical has transparent salaries based on location (San Francisco, Montreal, or remote in US), output levels, and options to trade cash for stock.
This is a full-time, salaried position with an annual salary of $110,000-$135,000 in US major metropolitan markets plus equity, generous vacation, and full medical/dental benefits.
