Your tasks
- Education in field of computer science, physics, or mathematics as well as comparable studies.
- Good communicator with an ability to explain complex topics to team members and executives.
- You are a team player with a data-driven mindset and distinct analytical thinking along with a willingness to learn, explore, and apply the newest data technologies.
- Advanced skills in Python (including Pandas, Numpy and Scikit-learn) and SQL.
- You know main principles and approaches of data ingestion, data collection, feature engineering, modeling, predicting, explaining, diagnosing.
- You communicate confidently in English.
Your profile
- Ability to build advanced automated data-driven models and integrate them into production.
- Communicate with end-users to identify pain points, use cases and problem definitions.
- Support the data ops team in various tasks including development of ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Contribute to design and develop the entirely new data ecosystem.
- You will work closely with stakeholders from various analytical, DevOps and IT teams
The team
The Strategic Market Insights Department collects exclusive content for Statista about current topics for which data is scarce or unavailable using proprietary market models and expert surveys. The Operations Team is the technical backbone within the Strategic Market Insights Department. The team develops tools and processes within a highly automated unified data infrastructure to provide a robust and agile environment for analytical insights.
