What will this role look like?

You will be the hands-on data expert who takes ownership of data experiments, growth metrics, product insights and financial KPIs to measure success for this SaaS product!

You will work with a range of data, (including customer, financial, marketing and user) to run experiments and provide insights to product, finance and engineering stakeholders! Some of your main contributions will include;

• Explore and dive into new and growing data sets to uncover insights
• Set-up, run and analyse data experiments to inform decisions
• Establish monthly reporting for key stakeholders on growth trajectory and user trends
• Add to data and analytics knowledge and best practice with the broader team

Required Skills and Experience:

• You will have at least 5 years of professional data analyst or data science experience; ideally working for a SaaS business or an e-commerce team
• Experience translating data into insights that drive product decisions - including choosing the best data visualisations (e.g. in Tableau) to help tell the story
• Understanding or direct experience in fast-paced, ambiguous and lean start-up environments - and you will be comfortable making decisions and recommendations within tight timeframes and probably based on less data than you would ideally like!
• Growth Mindset and ability to learn
• You will need strong SQL skills to explore, clean and manage data; skills with Python or R for data analysis and effective data visualisation to present insights.
