DATA SCIENTIST (M/F/*)
WHAT ARE MY RESPONSIBILITIES?
Our Digital Transformation Department (DT DA) has these tasks available:- Become a member of our data-science team for model- and software development
- Planning, development and implementation of lT—solutions and Al and ML models for the prediction process behavior for the steel production as well as for the prediction of the technological properties of steel products
- Development of solutions for prescriptive analytics
- Combining ad aggregation of various data sources for ML algorithms
- Assurance of data quality
- Development of Busines Intelligence solutions including dashboard design
- Participation and/or management of customer and R&D projects
WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY FOR THIS JOB?
- Master degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Metallurgy or comparable
- For job beginners as well as for people with job experience
- interested in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Computer Vision
- Skills in data analytics, statistics, and data visualization
- Experiences in Python programming
- Advanced knowledge of the English language

Further you should be comfortable with cooperating with international project partners and customers and also willingness to travel internationally.
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
The minimum annual gross salary for this position under the collective agreement and assuming that all requirements are met is EUR 50.638,56. This could rise considerably, depending on qualifications and experience.
