Overview:
We are in search of an exceptionally skilled Data Scientist who possesses a strong analytical acumen and expertise in deep learning, machine learning, knowledge graphs, and extensive language models. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into valuable insights, thereby enhancing our product line through machine learning techniques. The role involves developing data products, employing data enrichment strategies to support graph databases and large language models. We are seeking a candidate with critical thinking abilities, strong problem-solving skills, and a genuine passion for machine learning and research.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in any of the following disciplines: Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or GIS.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, and modeling tools.
- Experience working with semantic knowledge graphs and large language models.
- Competence in working with big data systems, including Microsoft Azure Data Lake, Elastic Cloud, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Proficiency in various data ingestion techniques and script writing for data ingestion.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: R, Python, Java, Scala, HTML, Matlab, R, SQL, C/C++, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in one or more libraries: numpy/scipy, scikit-learn, pandas, PyMC3, Ray/RLLib, Theano, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, Keras, pyspark, OpenCV, AngularJS, D3.js, jQuery, Boost (C++).
- Proficiency in software/frameworks such as Power Apps, Power Automate, ArcGIS Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, Kibana, Logstash, Node.js, YARN, Zookeeper, HDFS, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Ambari, Git, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Unix/Linux, OpenStack, AWS, Azure, VMWare.
- Proficiency in various databases, including Dgraph, ArgangodB Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Accumulo.
- Proficiency in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) software, such as ESRI ArcGIS suite, to facilitate data analysis in various domain classifications.
- Knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms.
- Knowledge of digital rights management.
- Strong foundation in mathematics, encompassing logarithms, trigonometry, linear algebra, calculus, statistics, and operational analysis.
- Familiarity with programming language structures and logic.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in one of the following disciplines: Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or GIS.
- Expertise in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) software, e.g., ESRI ArcGIS suite.
- Knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics pertaining to cybersecurity.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and the operational impacts of cybersecurity breaches.
- Knowledge of cloud computing service models, including Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Familiarity with cloud computing deployment models in private, public, and hybrid environments, as well as an understanding of the distinctions between on-premises and off-premises environments.
