This position is responsible for conducting preliminary business systems product data analysis to maintain integrity and oversee delivery capture and retention of engineering/operations product material configurations and related attribute data. This position includes assisting senior staff members in the formulation and development of solutions for enhancements and technical problems associated with process and data definition within the PDM, SAP and CIM enterprise systems and related interfaces. This responsibility ensures product data integrity and accessibility, satisfying enterprise status accounting requirements for product material configurations.
Position will be hybrid, located in Cedar Rapids, IA. Relocation assistance is available.

Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze PDM, SAP, and CSI product data to validate and synchronize. Monitor integrity using a variety of enterprise systems, tools and metrics.
Assist senior staff members in providing business process and product data evaluation which results in supporting documentation.
Using ACE principles and techniques, determine or verify the need to develop or revise business processes and/or product data improvements. Participate/coordinate with cross functional groups to plan and execute improvements. Align and coordinate all improvements within the enterprise model.
Teach, instruct, and advise others in the oversight, analyzing and populating product data within enterprise business systems.
Acts as a mentor and coach and assists operations personnel with questions; troubleshoot questions from production operations on SAP transactional errors.
Be an active participant in enterprise Data Governance initiatives.
Knowledge of engineering documentation and configuration management related standards is required.
Working Environment: Assignments are moderately complex to complex and include solving problems for which precedents do not exist but affect and involve all facets of engineering and production product data.
Working Relationships: Close working relationships with other functions within Collins Aerospace and occasional direct relationships with external customers. Requires a basic understanding of disciplines within other Business Unit functions and requires excellent communication skills.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
Familiarity with the use of PLM and ERP product configuration data management processes and tools
Some analytical/project management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of product design documentation and configuration management related standards.
Experience in the use of Enovia 3D Experience and SAP ERP tools.
Application of Data Governance principles and practices.
Understanding of Operations processes and the impact of master data on the related transactions.
