We are seeking a Procurement Data Analyst Student for our North American Headquarters (Edmonton, AB) who is available for 4 month or 8 months starting in September 2022. This position will be under the direct supervision of the Manager, Procurement & Equipment.
Here's how a Procurement Data Analyst Student for our Edmonton NAHQ office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Investigates targeted process improvements including;
- Reviewing and categorizing the challenge
- Identifying potential solutions
- Selecting preferred solutions
- Provides reasoning for the recommended solution,
- Identifies effort required to implement the recommended solutions
- Detects the results expected from the implementation
- Identifies the method to be used to measure the impact of the implemented solutions.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business program preferably with an operations management or data analytics focus
- Keen interest in inventory and distribution practices and data management as it applies to business intelligence and analytics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn PCL’s asset management system
- Excellent Customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work and facilitate in a team environment
- Ability to organize, prioritize and multi task
- Fluent in MS office applications
