Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The Data Analyst I role will be part of the Sales Admin Reporting team responsible for the reporting and analysis of sales data and metrics used by Sales Management and Agency personnel.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and quarterly reporting for multiple Globe Life divisions.
  • Use Microsoft Excel and Tableau to develop key sales metric reporting.
  • Focus on and maintain data accuracy.
  • Keep report and process documentation updated.
  • Audit applications for details that may have an adverse impact on the company.
  • Coordinate with other departments to gather information and log findings.
  • Present results and be able to answer questions with assistance.
  • Audit other teammate reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Perform other duties as necessary and appropriate.

Required Skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Vlookup and Pivot Tables)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Gauges workflow to allow for reporting efficiency.
  • Meets deadlines consistently.
  • Receives feedback and makes updates.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree w/1+ years' work experience OR 2-3+ years' work experience
  • Insurance industry experience a plus
  • Experience working in both a team and individual environment.
