Our Exciting Opportunity:

We are now looking for a Data Engineer to analyze, visualize, model the data in our various systems used in the Networks team. These include network optimization systems, project planning, scheduling, site information systems amongst many.

As a Data Engineer in the Networks team, you will:
  • Conduct functional and technical analysis of ML-driven opportunities
  • Perform Data mining of provided data sets
  • Feature engineering
  • Identify algorithms such as linear, polynomial regression
  • Build visualizations
  • Build models and tune parameters
  • Deploy models on defined big data infrastructure
  • Build proof of concepts using analytics and demonstrate them
  • Use python and/or R on Jupyter notebooks
  • Write automation scripts
  • Develop minimal viable solutions using automation scripts and ML techniques
  • Test data preparation and ML environments and provide inputs for improvement
To be successful in the role, you must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Python programming
  • Demonstrable ML projects that have been executed
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, H2O, Keras, TensorFlow or Spark, etc.
You might also have:
  • MOOC ML, data science course completion desirable
  • Taking courses on data analytics and Machine Learning
  • Ability to think analytically
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Able to work independently and with a defined framework of responsibilities
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of information
  • Successfully engages in multiple initiatives simultaneously
