Here at Amey we are looking to appoint a Data Analyst to join the Contract Control Team, working on the MoJ TFM account.
The Data Analyst is responsible for improving data quality to improve cost recovery.
The role will involve producing reports for Operational Managers to identify common trends and opportunities for improvement in their areas. You will produce monthly cost recovery reports for submission to the client, and support with the monthly payment application, as well as producing monthly reports to identify differences in approval methodology across sites and regions; this ensures all sites are working in a consistent way, and to improve application approval rates.
Using our clients CAFM database to export data it will need to be cleansed and reviewed to identify where revenue has been missed due to mis categorisation or poor data quality. You will engage with site teams to address data quality issues, and provide updated / corrected information. You will also support sites with administration of the system to re-open jobs where correction of errors or updating of information is required.
This role is full time, permanent based at All Saints House, Lodge Road, Birmingham.
Good attention to detail and levels of concentration. Somebody who like to work with raw data and has good excel and analytical skills, such as vlookups and pivot tables. Can work independently, but also as part of a team, to support the wider team objectives. Ideally has previous experience working on facilities maintenance contracts and understands the types of works being undertaken.
You will be working within a forward-thinking team that implement solutions to problems and is focused on both improving client satisfaction but also improving the profitability of the business. The team cover all of the transactional and reporting functions for the account so there is opportunity to problem solve and support with various areas of the account.
