meQuilibrium is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join our exciting and fast paced company in Boston. The Business Data Analyst will support the development and monitoring of data quality processes and procedures needed within the newly established Data Operations Team. The Data Operations team sits outside of technology in Customer Operations and serves as additional data oversight. Responsibilities include:
- Create and maintain canonical data models focusing on data ingestion and extraction points. This will require cross functional work with data engineering.
- Partner with the Data Operation Dev Team to establish systematic data monitors with circuit breaker capabilities across all files (inputs / outputs across 80+ customers)
- Prepare and manage a dashboard that gives real-time oversight of processes with the ability to drill down to identified issues
- Maintain an understanding of business requirements so to assist in issue resolution via hands-on database investigation
What you’ll need:
- 4-8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in writing and executing complex SQL queries
- Python experience a plus
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Strong problem solving skills
- Able to pick up technical concepts quickly
- Appreciation of business objectives
- Responsible self-starter with a sense of urgency balanced by attention to detail
- Comfortable with change and organizational and process evolution in a fast-paced environment

Our headquarters are based in Boston. There is the flexibility for this role to be remote; hybrid or even onsite when safe return based on personal preference sometime in early 2022. There will be times when travel to the Boston office is necessary for team meetings or training. Must be able to work east coast hours.
