Responsible for leading and participating in complex projects concerning data communication, migration, mediation and/or transformation and also serving as final escalation point for assigned area of responsibility. Will also continually keep up-to-date on new products, development tools, industry trends, and methodologies, which includes conducting an assessment of current and future information technologies and best practices

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading and participating in complex projects concerning data communication, migration, mediation and/or transformation and also serving as final escalation point for assigned area of responsibility while adhering to established corporate and departmental policies and procedures
  • Perform as final escalation point for SFDC cases that cannot be processed by other department staff
  • Collaborate with development team to coordinate a product update to fix escalated issues in assigned area of responsibility
  • Define project requirements by meeting with management and end users to gain a thorough understanding of software projects, providing leadership and technical direction during all stages
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of entire software suite, its usage, technical architecture, and functionality by project team, end user and management
  • Continually keep up-to-date on new products, development tools, industry trends, and methodologies, which includes conducting an assessment of current and future information technologies and best practices
  • Serve as subject-matter-expert (SME) for large projects and over multiple systems and method
  • Provide management with status reports detailing status and timelines throughout assigned projects tasks
  • Create documentation to be entered into a centralized knowledgebase for case resolutions to be utilized by department staff
  • Maintain and update centralized knowledgebase to ensure information is accurate and relevant
  • Ensure proper documentation during all stages of the project
  • Conduct complex data analysis to address anomalies in data in order to determine if there are inaccuracies with the data
  • Build and deploy data pipelines using Azure /DataBricks
  • Develop Visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science, MIS, or a related field is required
    • Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for education requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with data analysis and migration to include experience in the analysis or design of applications or systems to store and extract data
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with one or more of the following areas: software development, database development (Oracle preferred), business analysis, systems integration or system administration
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with SQL required
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree field from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science, MIS, or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with telecommunications billing preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Unix shell scripting preferred* Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft OneNote and Project preferred
  • Knowledge of Systems and / or Database Security mechanisms (Encryption, Data Loss Prevention, etc.) is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Azure/Databricks is preferred
  • Knowledge of Tableau,PowerBI is preferred
  • Knowledge of Python,PySpark is preferred

The hiring range for this position is expected to be $90,000 - $110,000 for candidates located in Colorado and is commensurate with experience.
