DATA ENGINEER

We are currently running a project to improve financial data, modeling and processes.

You will typically take the role of building and running data pipelines, data warehouse, data frameworks or different data presentation techniques.

You are expected to take business requirement and translate them into a design, data model and source data working with our Data Warehouse.

Competence requirements

We are looking for a senior data engineer with 10+ years of experience in the area.

Relevant education with a degree in engineering or comparable skills.

Experience in some or all of the following technologies; Spark, Hadoop, AWS EMR, AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, Qlik Sense, Postgres, Python, Scala.

Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.

A burning curiosity and interest in data, fast data, big data, data governance, data models, data warehouse, data insights – or all of the above!

Desirable competence

Past experience of working in the regulated industry or within finance areas such as Financial reporting or steering.
