SENIOR DATA ANALYST
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN
500,000 - 600,000 SEK PER ANNUM

THE ROLE
You will be part of a newly established Data and Analytics function and together with the Head of Data and Analytics you will play a key role in building and driving the development of the analytics environment, including methodology, tools and technologies, and databases. You will be heavily involved in both the strategic and operational work in the Data and Analytics function which means that it is an excellent opportunity to make an impact on the direction and future development. You will support decision-makers in phrasing the correct business critical questions, deriving insights from the accessible data, and presenting your findings in a clear and purposeful way. This is a role where you will get a lot of freedom in how to approach your work, and also be trusted with the responsibility of managing the tasks and processes on your own.
- Drive the development of the analytical function
- Database development
- Data visualisation
- Identify opportunities for growth
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify key areas where data and analytics can create value
- Through data analysis provide insight and recommendations in business-critical matters
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
This role is suitable for a candidate who has in-depth analytical skills and a strong business mindset. You are able to understand business challenges and how to overcome these with the help of data and analytics. You have excellent understanding of data architecture, relational databases, and high statistical competency. You are comfortable working in a role that requires being proactive and taking responsibility and you can explain technically complex matters to any audience within the organisation.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL
- Commercial experience working with R, or another programming language e.g., Python or SAS
- Knowledge of BigQuery
- Commercial experience working with a data visualisation tool e.g., Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong business mindset and understanding
