GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Data Analyst.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Position purpose
- The Data Analyst will be responsible for providing insights to various GI Alliance business units via ad-hoc reporting and analysis request fulfillment for Finance, Operations, Revenue Cycle Management and Clinical/Quality stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing and prioritizing the demand, setting expectations on reporting requirements/turn-around time, and delivering valuable insights in line with stakeholder expectations and business priority.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

- Report/Analytics demand management across all business lines of various ad-hoc reporting requests
- Leveraging strong healthcare knowledge to recommend and deliver reports for Finance, Rev Cycle Mgmt, Operations, Clinical and other areas.
- Collaborate with business leaders including Operations, Finance, RCM, Clinical, IT and Executive areas to ensure various report request are fully understood, built, delivered, and supported.
- Partner with BI Development team to ensure any ad-hoc reporting requests leverage standardized hierarchy and dimensions as well as informing the BI product roadmap for what reports, dashboards, scorecards are needed for broader audiences.
- Interact with internal GI Alliance customers to understand the business and data requirements and iteratively design prototypes for customer feedback.
- Full lifecycle analysis including documenting the requirements, design, development, and delivery of reporting capabilities.
- Communicates appropriate information including status, schedule variances and outstanding issues.
- Assists with recruiting and the coordination and development of other employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of experience partnering with healthcare leaders to create reporting insights for various business areas. 3+ years experience writing SQL and producing presentable reporting output for business stakeholders. Deep understanding of healthcare terminology including clinical quality measures, healthcare finance and operations metrics. Experience in healthcare is a must.
