About the Role:
As a key member of our squad, you'll play a critical role in shaping the data landscape that drives our analytics and business intelligence initiatives. You'll collaborate with senior data engineers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions that align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the squad, ensuring clarity of goals, roles, and responsibilities.
- Facilitate the adoption of Agile methodologies within the Data team.
- Implement data management strategies to support the software engineering center of excellence’s goals.
- Maintain data infrastructures, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Provide support in designing scalable data architectures and models that support business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative technical designs.
- Mentor junior data engineers, nurturing a culture of creativity and innovation.
- Drive continuous improvement in data management practices by adopting new tools and optimizing workflows.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3-5 years in data engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Strong understanding of data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and data infrastructures.
