(Junior) Data Scientist (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to extract insights and enable data-driven decision making
• Building algorithms based on statistical modeling procedures
• Building and maintaining machine learning solutions to support decision making
• Developing solutions and business intelligence technologies including data warehouse, Customer Data Platforms, dashboards, reporting and data queries
• Developing and applying technologies such as Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms to enable advanced analytics and additional product functionality
• Research and implement best practices to improve the existing machine learning infrastructure
• Combining existing data sources to provide cross channel insights
• Looker (the “original” Enterprise Platform): Configure Looker with LookerML and build insightful dashboards
• Build Regression Based Attribution Models for Marketing Analytics

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar field
• Experience with statistical techniques, including testing, regression, and classification
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and business processes.
• Expertise in creating Machine Learning models - via BigQueryML, Vertex AI, …
• Ability to write code in Python and know your way around BigQuery SQL
• Experience with Cloud technology, preferably with Google Cloud
• Experience with Looker is a big plus
• Fluent English language knowledge, German is nice to have
• Team player, can-do attitude

The gross annual salary for this position starts at EUR 40.000,- / no all-in contract. According to your qualifications and professional experience, an appropriate overpayment will of course be made.
