As part of Individual Customer Technology group, we are looking to hire a Big Data Developer/Data Engineer to join our Data Technology team. The successful candidate will bring solid expertise in developing enterprise wide big data solutions and work with business analysts, data scientists, programmers, and various stake holders including senior executives. The Big Data Developer will have a detailed practical working knowledge of current data solutions and have a keen eye for industry trends.

Roles & Responsibilities
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline
7-10 years of solid development experience in delivering data solutions in Business Intelligence (e-g Data Marts using SQL Server/DB2/Oracle) and/or Big Data environments (e-g. Data Lake technologies Hadoop, AWS or Microsoft Azure)
In depth understanding of data modeling physical/logical data modeling, relational data models, normalization, and Big data design principles
Solid development experience in ETL constructs (e-g Data stage, Ab Initio or Informatica)
Expert in SQL programming/scripts, complex queries, stored procedures, tables and views
Proven ability to build large data pipelines and develop data sets to support Business Intelligence, Operational Reporting and Analytics
Experience with Integration tools (e-g. Sqoop, Kafka)
Operational experience in managing Data Warehouse and Big Data environments
Demonstrated ability to act in a leadership capacity with respect to advising on data technologies and solutions
Experience in iterative, agile, dev ops and continuous integration methodologies
Team player with strong communication skills Accountabilities:
Design, develop and build (Big) data solutions based on business/data requirements
Design and develop installation and configuration definitions/ technical documentations related to (Big) data solutions
Develop procedures and methods to extract, load and transform data in various data solution environments (e-g Big Data, Data Lake, Data warehouse)
Collaborate with multiple and varied group of stake holders in the development of technical requirements including interface mapping
Develop and support the implementation of processes and procedures for data management
Support the development of reporting and visualization of key operational reports using prescribed business tools (e-g Cognos, Power BI, and Tableau)
