This position is part of the Existing Customer Engagement team, within the larger US Customer Analytics organization. The Existing Customer Engagement analytics team is responsible for conducting financial and statistical analyses to drive consumer engagement and business insights and strategies to support business growth within the North America business, across Cards and Bank. Analyses will focus on the development of comprehensive strategy recommendations based on multiple factors such as in-depth customer insights (analytically derived); sound financial impact forecasting and thorough understanding of competitive landscape. This role is to lead end to end analytics for all Merchant Offer programs which includes building test and learn framework; provide analytical insights ,measuring the success of the program and socializing the results with senior leaders across functions.

Responsibilities:

Lead analytics to support the execution priorities of the Merchant Offer team:

  • Analyze performance of Merchant offer campaigns across the digital channels
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the targeting efficiency
  • Utilize statistical and segmentation tools to develop targeting strategies
  • Create an optimization framework to maximize the ROI
  • Identify & make data-driven recommendations on customer targeting
  • Translate data into insights that reflect an understanding of customer needs and behavioral drivers to inform strategic roadmaps and innovation.
  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting for program recommendations
  • Understand all of the drivers of financials and the underlying consumer behaviors that drive those financials. Be able to articulate these to cross functional partners.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously through effective project management. Create, update, and track project plans for multiple deliverable
  • Collaborate with vendors to further enhance marketing capability on merchant offers
  • Design tests and learn agenda with business partners & identify marketing efficiency improvement opportunities


Qualifications:

  • 6+ years working experience in an quantitative field; Financial services experience preferred

  • Strong analytical and practical problem solving abilities. Solid understanding of the consumer lending market, customer life cycle, and P&L.

  • Working knowledge of technical skills: SQL, SAS, R , Python , MS Office

  • Ability to present to business partners and/or leaders to gain approvals

  • Business knowledge of existing customer treatments and impact.

  • Strong understanding of optimization and financial forecasting processes, and advanced analytics tools & techniques.

  • Strong project management, analytic thinking, and partnership skills


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree with background in Statistics, Economics, Business, Operations Research or similar discipline. Master's degree preferred.
