As a research spin-off of the University of Hamburg, we research and develop innovative caching algorithms to get closer to our vision every day: A web without noticeable loading times.

Our Product, Speed Kit, is a website plugin that accelerates loading times for online shops and collects valuable user experience data at every page load.

Our Product Integration Team is responsible for the preparation and execution of the Proof of Concept phase (PoC). This phase includes the configuration and implementation of Speed Kit on the website of our new customers and analysis of web tracking and server log data to validate or optimize Speed Kits implementation and configuration.

We are looking for a new team member in the position of (Junior) Data Analyst - Product Integration (f/m/d) to support this.


  • You will analyze real-user monitoring (web tracking) data in order to understand if our product is integrated correctly in our customers websites
  • You will analyze A/B test results to ensure that our product is delivering the expected performance uplift (faster page loads) for our new customer.
  • You will do drill down analysis and work closely with our Performance Engineers to identify where we can optimize the configuration of Speed Kit for specific customers.
  • You will share the results of your analysis in the form of effective summaries, data visualizations or dashboards to ensure that it actually drives action.

  • You bring at least initial experience in a similar position, e.g. as a working student or in university research projects.
  • You have knowledge of web performance metrics or have worked with web tracking data before.
  • You have a lot of fun analyzing large data sets.
  • You are familiar with creating dashboards and visualizations of data, with p.e. Google Analytics.
  • You are experienced in using tools like SQL Queries
  • You like to work independently with a high level of responsibility and a structured approach.
  • We don't care whether you have a degree or are a career changer.
To give you an overview of technologies our teams are using, this is our current tech stack. We do not expect that you know all of these tools and technologies:

Data Engineering: Kibana, Athena/PrestoDB (SQL), ElasticSearch, Flink, Grafana, Google Analytics, Mpulse, Jupyter, Google Sheets and Data Studio

Backend & DevOps: Java/JVM, Kotlin, Node.js, Go, AWS (several services), MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Fastly, Nginx, HAProxy, Storm, Terraform, Loki, Varnish, Prometheus

Full-Stack: Service Worker (most of Speed Kit), TypeScript & JavaScript, Selenium/Browserstack/Jenkins, Puppeteer, WebPagetest, Node.js

Tooling, Dashboards, etc.: JavaScript, Angular, Vue, Node.js, PHP, WordPress Extensions, Plesk, Webpack

Primary IDE with us: IntelliJ, projects managed in Gitlab - Code Reviews, Merge Requests and Peer Programming are essential in our daily work.
