Our Rail Infrastructure business seeks to hire a proven Business/Data Analyst to initiate and manage advanced analytics solutions. You will work with partners and other automation consultants to determine requirements for analytics solutions and lead the implementation of those selected. You can prioritize multiple initiatives and are experienced with data analytics using various data analysis methods and tools. In addition, we seek a candidate with a consistent track record for building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms, creating/running simulations, and a demonstrable ability to drive business results with data-based insights.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Review business workflows (Finance, HR, Procurement, Sales, Order Management, etc.) and determine how to use analytics to improve and streamline the processes.
  • Determine how to install customer process analytics solutions. Support/strategize with customers to identify requirements for solutions.
  • Lead implementation of analytics solutions.
  • Lead and drive digitalization across the business.
  • Create requirements documentation for analytics solutions.
  • Perform data modeling, data warehousing, and database query languages.
  • Perform data mining and statistical analysis, and build high-quality prediction and prescriptive systems integrated with other products.
To thrive in this role, you have:
  • BS/BA in Data Science, Computer Science, Math, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related subject area. Advanced degree Preferred.
  • Comprehensive professional know-how and experience in shared services and operational excellence / continuous improvement and IT.
  • Knowledge and experience in applying relevant technologies, cognitive automation, analytics, chatbots, natural language processing, business process management, and intelligent data capture.
  • Experience with cloud technologies: Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Python, R, C#, and additional computer languages.
  • Knowledge and experience in process optimization, quality, and change management projects (Power BI knowledge preferred).
  • Ability to actively and proactively perform market/trend scouting to know the latest on emerging technologies.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Experience collecting business requirements and translating them into solution designs.
