What’s the role about?
To ensure the Quality Assurance team and our stakeholder Partners & suppliers have user-friendly access to data and insight, enabling data-driven, strategic and day to day decisions that helps to set Waitrose & Partners apart from our competitors with world class quality products which delight our customers.
Deliver analytical thinking (both strategic & tactical) and reporting to shape our interactions within the Partnership and our supply base linked to the Partnership Plan.
What you’ll be doing as a Quality Data Analyst:
You will be using data to provide user-friendly views of quality performance at all levels over time and provide strategic or tactical insight / recommendations for proactive next steps by category teams.
You will be providing a quality lever for Commercial business processes to drive appropriate quality standards within Category Proposition Groups and for customers. Business reporting of product quality performance from line level through trading directorate to supplier level.
You will be working with key stakeholders to create, review & refine KPI metrics and reporting system / capabilities.

What you’ll have
Excellent data analysis skills, capable of analysing commercial metrics & insight data from multiple sources to provide recommendations
Strong capability in statistics & probability
Analytical & critical thinking & data manipulation skills (Excel, Google Sheets etc..) with strong attention to detail
Use of complex data systems and report building using Business Intelligence tools
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Able to work on own initiative and part of a team
Ability to work well under pressure
