Senior Data Engineer S3449

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
• Collaborates with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increase data accessibility, and foster data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Implements processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.
• Writes unit/integration tests, contributes to engineering wiki, and documents work.
• Performs data analysis required to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
• Works closely with a team of frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and analysts.
• Defines company data assets (data models), spark, spark SQL, and hive SQL jobs to populate data models.
• Designs data integrations and data quality framework.
• Designs and evaluates open source and vendor tools for data lineage.
• Works closely with all business units and engineering teams to develop a strategy for long term data engineering platform architecture

What You Know

• Hands-on experience using Azure cloud, UI applications
• Should have experience in Application delivery experience (not the administration of big data)
• Must have a good experience in Data pipeline using the azure tools/data factory tools
• Experience in Java/ Sql knowledge, python/Spark
• Hands-on experience in Built data pipelines
• Should have experience in Senior leads to drive the engineers, take the tasks to completion.
• Must have good experience in Drive milestones independently from TL.
• Experience in Java – (Intermediate to Expert Level)-Additional
• Experience in Selenium / TestNG (Basic Level at least)
• Should have Basic Level experience in SQL queries
• Familiarity with Python, Basic shell scripting

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or related field
