Cash Data Domain

In Cash Data domain we are working every day to help our corporate clients run their business more smoothly. The clients who will be using and/or benefiting from results of your work are well-known multinational corporates. The products we provide to the clients are sight deposits, overdrafts, intraday credit-facilities, term deposits and off-balance sheet investments. Those products help clients to make payments to their employees, suppliers, and achieve their cash management goals.

As a Senior Data Engineer (f/m/x) you use cutting edge data processing and analytics technology.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Together with business users, data analysts and other stakeholders from various parts of the bank you will define data architecture, data models, and user cases
• You will design and tune performance of Clickhouse cluster and of individual queries; as well as work on supportability / observability
• You will build workflows to get data from sources, clean-up, build analytics and push the data into HDFS and Clickhouse
• You will build wide DataMarts with results of analytical data. It will contain insights about our portfolio, market trends, and opportunities
• Once data is there you will build analytical dashboards and alerts together with top management of the bank
  
  

Your Skills And Experiences

• Several years of working experience in Java/Scala, SQL
• Strong knowledge of any columnar based distributed database, e.g. Clickhouse, inlcuding cluster management, perfomance tuning of individual queries and overall cluster
• Strong knowledge of Apache BigData ecosystem (Spark, Hive, Impala) and extended experience in GIT, Jira, IntellJ, Confluence
• Airflow and Tableau are a plus
• Very good written and spoken English
