ow will I help?W

e have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst (3+ years) to join our high performing Customer and Corporate Relations Division. You will be positioned in the Group Customer Remediation Business Unit and required to support the Westpac Group by bringing a consolidated approach and consistent governance to our programs and customers and form an integrated approach to building a better bank.T

his role plays an important part in defining and maintaining a remediation reporting suite, machine learning solutions, and associated reporting data environment. You will work alongside the reporting team to provide data related support, data investigation, data management and reporting.S

ome key aspects of your work will include:W

• orking on a myriad of technology and business projects that aim to improve our remediation program and governanceT
• roubleshoot and investigate data anomalies and issues along with apply industry standard fixesT
• aking responsibility for enhancing and maintaining existing data processesB
• eing the SME for GCR dataH
• aving a strong relationship with internal stakeholders across all levels to support group requirements and achieve business objectives

hat do I need?W

e are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with at least 3 years in financial services, risk or consumer data who possess the following skills and experience:P

• roven experience and understanding in data management and developing or maintaining data warehouse and/or lakesP
• revious work experience in remediation or risk for large corporate, financial services, telecommunications preferredS
• trong technical understanding of data analyst tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, SQL (3-5 years), Teradata and PhytonE
• xperience creating documentation covering data, data processing, data models and requirementsE
• xceptional verbal and visual communication skills
