Key Responsibilities
Craft custom Tableau dashboards tailored to the specific needs of the insurance and reinsurance sector.
Employ strong data analysis skills to comprehend intricate insurance and reinsurance datasets, encompassing specialized terminology and calculations.
Partner closely with underwriters, actuaries, and senior executives to gather requirements and translate them into impactful data visualizations.
Contribute actively within an Agile/Scrum development framework, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and related activities.
Independently lead projects, taking charge of the complete development cycle from data extraction and transformation to the final deployment of dashboards.
Communicate insights drawn from visualizations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and comprehension.
Collaborate seamlessly with the data engineering team to optimize data pipelines for reporting and visualization needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven track record (3+ years) in data analysis, visualization, and Tableau development, preferably within the insurance or reinsurance domain.
Profound familiarity with insurance and reinsurance terminology, metrics, and calculations.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to engage with C-level executives, underwriters, actuaries, and technical teams.
Experience thriving in an Agile/Scrum development environment, fostering collaboration and innovation.
