Risk Data Scientist

Cpl are supporting a truly innovative global organisation on a large recruitment drive across Data Science and Data Engineering. We are looking to hire an experienced Data Scientist with extensive experiences in applying Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics solutions across the Risk domain. Ideally you should have 5 years of experience within a commercial environment, strong Python skills and be passionate about technology and innovation.

Role

• Building predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the data
• Developing production-ready machine-learning models
• Identify drivers of patterns/behaviors uncovered in data
• Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
• Development of business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate
  
  

Experience

• 5+ years of experience
• Experience building risk or credit models for Financial Services, Lending, or Insurance is absolutely essential
• Commercial experience developing machine learning models
• Well-rounded data science skill set – eg exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, fitting, tuning, evaluating and comparing models etc
• Experience with common open source ML libraries – especially with Python or R
• Strong communication skills
