Azure Data Engineer

One of Australia's largest IT consultancies is seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer. Contract or perm role.

Your new company
Your new company is massive IT consultancy located in every state in Australia. They are currently working with a mining giant located in Perth WA.

Your new role
In your new role you will directly involved in building out production for the company's data science and infrastructure capability.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you will have extensive experience working as a Data Engineer, specifically in an Azure Cloud environment.

You will have the following technical key skills:

• Minimum of 2 years working experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks and DevOps
• DevOps: Repositories and pipelines (CI/CD, MLOps)
• Azure Databricks - Python, R, Scala
• Azure Data Lake
• Azure SQL DB
• Azure Functions, Logic apps, Service Bus, Storage Queue, Data Grid, Azure SQL DW (synapse)
• API management
• Azure Machine Learning
• Microsoft Power BI
• Powershell scripting

The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to hit the ground quickly.
