Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

We are looking to hire an Azure Data Expert with migration and Data Bricks experience to join our Data Technology team. The successful candidate will bring solid expertise in SQL and Designing enterprise wide data solutions and work with business analyst’s data scientists and various stakeholders including senior executives. The Azure Developer will have knowledge of current data solutions and have a keen eye for industry

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understanding of Azure Data Services hands on in-depth experience in Azure Data Factory Data Bricks Azure Data Lake Azure Synapse Azure SQL
• Experience in Data Conversion / Migration
• Strong SQL / PL-SQL knowledge
• Understanding of Audit-Balancing Reconciliation Error Handling Mechanism using ETL
• Strong Insurance Domain Knowledge – Life & P&C
• Fluency in French & English
• - Minium 12+ years of experience in Data – ETL Reporting etc.
• Gain deep understanding of data by collaborating with business advantage the understanding to design curate and publish connected data sets that enables users to self-service.
• Propose technology improvements or come up with innovative solutions to solve business problems.
• Perform data assessments and insights that promote active data remediation that improves data quality across the company and make a positive difference for our customers.
• Perform data discovery design develop and construct self-service data products.
• Employ a variety of scripting languages recommend ways to improve data reliability efficiency and quality inventory metadata.
• Collaborate with Architecture security, risk teams, and implement latest guidelines and data models.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using tools such as terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines that enables automated code deployment.
• Participate in Agile sprints and ceremonies supports rapid iteration and development.
• Take lead in inventorying critical data elements and lineage.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships and fosters collaboration with various teams and stakeholders within the organization.
