The Data team at Matsmart/Motatos:
The Data team helps solving the challenges that an extremely variable and fast-moving assortment of surplus goods poses to our business and consumers. At the same time, we are continuously working to improve the efficiency of our processes to make our mission sustainable and profitable.
We are a small team but have a cut-edge data platform built on Azure components and a growing business organization with Data Owners and BI specialists that can proudly be called self-sufficient. We are now looking for a Data Analyst to be the link between engineering, business, and the BI community and to assist the development of new data services.

The Role:
Drive maintenance and development of data models and services

Support Power BI development to ensure that dataset and report design best practices are followed by the organization

Educate and train Data Owners and BI Specialists

Support Business and internal Tech projects with analytical expertise

Troubleshoot, test and quality assure models and services

We believe that you:
Have experience working with large relational data models

Have experience developing data sets and reports in Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or similar

Have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of statistics and problem-solving experience through multi-variate testing

Are skilled and self-sufficient in SQL and have worked with Python, R, or Matlab

Have soft skills and thrive on training, presenting, and sharing your expertise

Have a university degree in Statistics, Engineering, Business, or another relevant field
