As a Data Engineer at Lalamove, you will be part of the growing data team, which supports different functional departments in the headquarters, as well as over 260+ cities in the highly data-driven company. You will be responsible for creating the technology that moves and translates data used for making business, operations and strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for optimising data systems and building them from the ground up.
What you'll do:
- Design, implement and optimize ETL data pipelines
- Work with upstream consumers and downstream users, to translate and integrate requirements into our data models
- Understand, document and maintain business definitions, data dictionary and data mapping
What you'll need:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in data engineering
- Strong experience in SQL
- Extensive experience in building complex ETL pipelines
- Experience in the Hadoop ecosystem, such as Hive, Impala, Spark, Flink etc.
- Good knowledge in data warehouse framework, and data model design concepts
- Good command of English, fluency in Mandarin is a plus
