An exciting opportunity has arisen in our DEKRA DIGITAL Division. This area is to focus on tech competencies and drive digital innovation to help leading DEKRA into a successful future.
We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to strengthen our DIGITAL area.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar.
- +5 years of experience in Python.
- Experience using Pandas, PySpark, Kafka, Apache Airflow …
- Strong knowledge Data Quality.
- Experience with AWS (S3, EC2, RDS, …).
- Strong knowledge of SQL (others databases engines are valuated).
- Experience designing database models and data pipelines.
- High level written and verbal communications skills.
Tasks:
- Design and create detailed and well-structured data pipelines.
- Design and implements analytical database models.
- Work with stakeholders to assess potential new requirements.
- Analyse existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
- Manage other data engineers following Agile methodologies.
