What Are We Looking For?

Contentstack is looking for a Sr. Data Scientist.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Work with product, business and engineering teams to help them understand what data science can do for them
• Proactively work with the team to build capabilities and cultivate skill sets in the data science and data engineering domains
• Work with cross functional teams to design solutions that can automatically detect patterns in large amount of data
• Ensure that the solutions are scalable and can be productized
• Work in an Agile environment and facilitate agile practices
• Champion best practices and cross-functional skill development
• Mentor and guide junior team members
• Cultivate talent and bring out the best in your team members
• Continuously improve by working on and providing feedback

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in Java/Python/R or other scripting languages
• Experience in designing efficient queries for relational, non relational and graph databases
• 5+ Experience in using machine learning / deep learning libraries like Tensorflow and PyTorch
• Experience in big data technologies (Spark, MapReduce, Hive, etc)
• Experience productizing machine learning algorithms and scaling them
• Mentoring and/or leading teams of data scientists and engineers is preferred
• Experience practicing Agile software development methods is preferred
