Position: Data Architect/Data Engineer [Requisition:202106109]

Location: Remote

Clearance Required: Candidate must be a US Citizen, a Top Secret clearance is preferred

Job Description: The Data Architect/Data Engineer defines how date will be stored, consumed , integrated, and managed by different data entities and IT applications, as well as any applications using or processing USDA OIG, and external data in some way. Also develops data models including Conceptual Model, Logical Model, and Physical Model that describe data relationships and hierarchies of data sets that reflect business requirements and needs.

• Assess RFP Cost Volume requirements – translating them into a fully compliant cost proposal.

Participate in pricing & cost proposal development for new business opportunities and Contract

Education: Bachelors in Computer Science or related field required

Experience:

Depth in data modeling and database design, from conceptualization to optimization. SQL development and database administration.
Foundation systems/application development
Software and database design and agile project management approaches

Requirements, design, and testing techniques centered on data management

Experience in several RDBMS and data models to support a wide variety of applications (desired)

Clearance Required: Candidate must be a US Citizen, a TOP SECRET clearance is preferred
