The data analyst will:

As part of his role, have to support the implementation of integrated and acceptance testing of the overall Dematic solution (or assigned subsystem thereof). This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Understand the system material flow concept and physical system layout.
  • Understand functional design specification for material flow host (WCS/WMS)
  • Assist in testing of WCS/WMS using simulators and emulation software.
  • Assist in Factory Acceptance testing of third part equipment.
  • Assist in Factory Acceptance testing of Dematic supplied equipment.
  • Assist the sim team for integrating equipment and WCS/WMS software ensuring full functionality following the agreed test procedures.
  • Keep the lead SIM and / or PM regularly informed of the status of the above.
  • To provide support to site wide commissioning activities until acceptance by customer.
  • Provide ramp-up support through to handover to Early Life Integration team, or customer full takeover.

Non-Role Specific Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health and Safety legislation and Dematic policies / guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to Dematic Compliance policy.
  • Reflect KION values in everyday work.
  • Always act as an ambassador for the SIM team, Project Execution department and Dematic.

Tasks and Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Degree / HND or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Previous experiences in data analysis, KPI calculations, trends
  • Previous experience in testing or design of automation equipment in the materials handling industry.
  • Experience in the logistics sector is an advantage.
  • Microsoft office and Microsoft project strong knowledge
  • Ability to understand technical drawings
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to query on DB (Oracle, SQL)
  • Oracle and SQL
  • Good knowledge of data visualization tools (es. Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
  • Good knowledge of PowerQuery, DAX
  • Fluency in English
  • Availability to travel especially in Italy for 40%/50% of the time.
