What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Reporting & Data Analyst, FP&A within our Pay By Phone division. This position falls under our Commercial Finance team and is located in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will be working as part of the Commercial Finance team to provide quality financial information for senior management within agreed timescales and legal requirements.

You will report directly to the Senior Manager, FP&A and regularly collaborate with sales, marketing, and other cross functional groups.

  • Assigned workspace in Vancouver, BC office
  • Company-issued equipment + remote access

Role Responsibilities

The Reporting & Data Analyst, FP&A supports decision making by working with the FP&A team to generate quality reports and data insights to the business. This role is accountable for:

  • Responsible for ensuring all FP&A monthly reporting is completed and distributed in accordance with reporting timelines.
  • Own the FP&A reporting database – Maintaining, upgrading and monthly data outputs.

Monthly Management Reporting

  • Responsible for the monthly production, enhancements, and maintenance of all core FP&A reporting, including (but not limited to):
    • Global flash metrics.
    • Flash revenues and new business.
    • Client profitability report.
    • People cost report.
    • Revenue one pager.
    • P&L one pager.
    • Consolidated financial statements.
    • Monthly management review slide deck.
    • Vehicle mobility & parking slide deck.
  • Validate that all reports are correct, reconciling, and complete.
  • Identify key variances in these reports to assist the finance business partners in the production of insightful commentary.
  • Provide headline commentary on reports to enable understanding of the key insights to the stakeholders.
Data Management

  • Own the maintenance and enhancement of the FP&A reporting database; Including adding additional metrics and financial data to support other team members in producing their monthly insights.
  • Own the updating and maintenance of the centralized mapping files that feed into the FP&A reporting database.
  • Combine various data sources using PowerQuery to build reports and dashboards.
  • Work with the Senior Manager, FP&A to document any updates and changes made to the structure of the FP&A reporting database.

Other Required Skills

  • Lead the PowerBI reporting revamp, working with other FP&A colleagues to build the required reports.
  • Carry out tasks when necessary and as requested to support the CFO, the Senior Manager, FP&A, the Executives and the PayByPhone accounting team
  • Takes ownership.

Technical / Hard Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills are a must.
  • Prior exposure to Powerquery and PowerBI is a must.
  • Excellent office software skills including Word, PDF management, outlook, PowerPoint, and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with accounting software a plus.

Years of Experience

  • 2+ years in a similar position.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation range for this role is : $65,000 - $80,000 CAD
