The skills to succeed
Broadly speaking, we are mainly programming in Java and Python while our tech stack also comprises Kotlin, Airflow, Spark, Beam, and BigQuery. Besides, everything is hosted on Google Cloud Platform and our infrastructure is defined in Terraform (we are using both continuous integration and deployment).
With that in mind, we think that the following skills would greatly help you to be successful in this role:
Solid Software Engineering and Backend Development fundamentals.
Knowledge in an OOP language, preferably Java, Kotlin or Python.
Expertise with SQL and analytical databases such as BigQuery.
Familiarity with Data processing frameworks such as Apache Beam.
Know-how of Airflow or other workflow management platforms.
Experience working in Cloud environments (GCP or AWS).
