THE ROLE & THE TEAM

  • As a Senior Data Analyst (m/w/d), you will create, leverage and even revamp analytical formats to draw actionable and robust insights within Connected Retail.You will be involved in driving the vision of the one single source of truth along the partner journey, which presents the basis for decision-making for Partner Consultants. This will be enabled by, among others, the provision of partner performance insights, data quality across different tools, operational workflows and notification systems. Your analytics expertise will be essential to the Partner Consulting team as we bring on board more partners and continuously improve on our service offering, especially by attempting to pre-empt partner needs. As we grow fast, incremental and iterative development (potentially in collaboration with 3rd parties) and the support of junior colleagues will be crucial to your success

WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED

  • Dashboard concepts: Build data dashboards by synthesizing information from multiple sources and align on the technical/ data flow with the Analytics, as well as the Data Engineering/ Product team - all while clearly understanding Partner Consultants' needs
  • Activity management: Identify opportunities to drive Partner Consultants' productivity through automation of internal, manual tasks (e.g. approval processes) and organisation features for daily tasks - based on a set of criteria for the respective partner segment/ type/ country
  • Data Modelling + Analysis: Enable an exploitable overview of our partners' health/ performance on our platform that will allow our Partner Consultants to proactively address growth opportunities and guide our partners through a superior service experience (e.g. due to an elaborate alert/ notification/ workflow system)
  • Data-related processes: Watch out for optimization and automation potentials for analytical insights in order to avoid human errors and inefficiencies; think of ways to solve problems in a sustainable and scalable manner

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • Analytical thinking: you are a wizard with analytics and dashboards! By combining a strongly data-driven approach with operational and business processes, you're able to visualise partner insights in a digestible, actionable and well structured format - considering the audience, different markets, partner types and segments; ideally you have first-hand work experience in product management, technical consulting or software engineering
  • Curiosity and learning mindset: you are passionate about exploring new perspectives and methods to make even more sense of the data at hand - and comfortable to work independently and in a multi-database environment; Familiarity with Celonis, relational databases, AWS and Google Cloud is a plus (not a Must)
  • Basic coding skills: you are able to apply Python and SQL, in combination with tools such as Git, Bash, BigQuery, Presto, Cron and Airflow. When it comes to visualisation of data, you understand how the insights you generated contribute to the overall product vision
  • Business understanding: you are interested in the e-commerce industry, especially in the commercial perspective. Within the Partner Consulting team, you want to take part in the prioritisation of those insights that create real value for Connected Retail - the drivers for revenue and margin growth
