- 3+ years of experience with data scripting languages (SQL, Python, or R) or statistical/mathematical software ( R, SAS, or Matlab)
- 3+ years industry experience delivering business solutions
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python, Spark or other statistical/machine learning scripting languages
- Skilled in SQL and data manipulation techniques
- Experience applying various machine-learning techniques, and understanding the key parameters that affect their performance
- Experience developing experimental and analytic plans for data modeling processes, use of strong baselines, and the ability to accurately determine cause and effect relationships

Key job responsibilities
As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for taking structured and unstructured data and applying machine learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) to understand and deliver end to end solutions to our hardest customer facing problems. Your curiosity and strong analytical skills are critical to help us learn more about our data and find opportunities to delight customers with data driven insights. You will be part of the Data Science team that support multiple business initiatives and technical stakeholders with high velocity analytics using different ML techniques specifically to recognize intent, analyze topics, and detect anomalies. You will dive deep in our data and have a strong bias for action to produce high quality data analyses with clear findings and recommendations. You balance experimentation with delivering results for our customers. You will analyze data across multiple data sources, apply the right machine learning models, and visualize insights for senior leaders and business partners.
- PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Math, Operations Research, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 4+ years’ experience industry experience delivering business solutions
- Experience using AWS technologies – Sagemaker, S3, EC2, and Lambda
