Job Overview
As a part of the Corporate RDE group you will be responsible for supporting data platforms empowering faster decision making in the RD&E community. You will lead efforts to improve existing operational data systems architecture for RD&E and work with stakeholders in RD&E and Supply Chain. You will also help transition the existing architecture to a modern platform and lay the groundwork for future digital projects enabling RDE. The successful candidate will take the time to understand the existing framework and help rebuild it to a higher technical standard in line with the company’s technology strategy.

Main Responsibilities
- Support critical operational data infrastructure processes
- Maintain scripted ETL data pipelines
- Document reliant business applications
- Design and deploy new solutions for existing outdated data pipelines
- Partner with both IT and operational teams on enterprise system upgrade projects
- Proactively make recommendations and identify opportunities to enable digital transformation within RDE organization
- Train others in systems, tools, and processes
- Lead automation of processes and analyses
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in an analytical or business intelligence role
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Intermediate SQL skills, or another query language
- Intermediate VBA skills, or another programming language
- Experience data modeling
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and/or Azure SQL Database
- Training or experience in data engineering skills such as ETL, data warehousing, database systems, data analysis, and machine learning
- History of managing and delivering multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to create, implement, document, and continuously improve processes in a changing environment
- Projects demonstrating strong automation mindset
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering preferred
