Job Summary
- Responsible for identifying internal/external data sources, execute design and implement ETL strategy, data schema, table design, and automate Audit Balance Control in accordance with Data Management and Governance.
- Work cross functionally with various business stakeholders to drive projects from conception to launch in order to help teams leverage data and/or create data strategies.
- May lead one or more team member.
Essential Job Functions
- Provides oversight of data infrastructure strategies for all major data projects based on an understanding of business and technical priorities.
- Manages requirements for enterprise data enhancements needed to improve future analytics and/or data process.
- Designs schema, table structure, and defines ETL strategy to build reliable data solutions in evolving data ecosystem to ensure func tionality and meet critical business requirements.
- Develop Source to Target Data Certification process and maintains high quality standards through code reviews, UAT plans, and quality assurance efforts.
- Negotiates and sets priorities with IT and business intelligence resources to align projects with company goals.
- Influences cross fu nctional teams of business stakeholders and team members to derive maximum value from data.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to identify and recommend functional, technical, and process design improvements.
- Breaks down complex problems into workable solutions.
- Proactively document and publish metadata and table design.
- Develops business certification for all data projects and performs ad hoc analysis as needed.
- Provides leadership and guidance to assigned direct reports and functions as a data/code trainer for the department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Actions
- Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance. Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (e.g. others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Visually verifies and reads information. Visually locates material, resources and other objects. Ability to operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.
Physical Environment
- This position operates in an open office working environment which will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 5-7 years related experience in a similar role required. Demonstrated leadership experience preferred.
