Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.

Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist, you will discover and develop mathematical models to improve clinical, financial, or operational outcomes at all levels of the healthcare system. A few of the responsibilities include supporting feasibility studies, applying modern data storage techniques, discovering explanatory features in high-dimensionality collections of data, exploring data using scientifically valid techniques to applying a modern software or analytic development lifecycle methodology.

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • Master's degree in Analytics, Biomedical Engineering, Biostatistics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Physics, Software Engineering, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications Expectations
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
