As part of expansion for the Southeast Asia team, we offer a valuable opportunity to develop skills in data analysis, visualisation, and management within the insurance industry, while gaining actuarial experience and enhancing your understanding of actuarial principles and practices.

Your Role:

  • You will be the High-net-worth Data Analytics expert to provide insights on our data, to identify trends and opportunities and suggest solutions based on these insights to support business decision.
  • Develop data mart, data models that can support data analysis to draw insightful information and trend analysis, allowing us to meet clients' needs and provide insights for portfolio management.
  • Design and develop dashboard frameworks and reporting view to achieve efficiency in reporting for routine standard reports.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand clients’ requirements and business agreements, treaty terms and product features. Perform data reconciliations and transformations, to ensure data quality through comprehensive checks and cleaning.
  • Automate data-driven processes, develop algorithms for data cleaning, and prepare documentation for the work performed to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Use Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI and any other provided analytical tools to meet reporting requirements for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the team with ad-hoc tasks, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving


Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or Business Analytics
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in life (re)insurance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous and patient in dealing with large datasets
  • Proficient in Excel, Python, SQL and PowerBI, with experience in automation, and a strong emphasis on data management and data analysis
  • Knowledge of Life Insurance principles and products is preferred
  • Skilled in data visualization, for creating impactful reports
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous learning, with a positive attitude
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
