Senior Cheminformatics Data Scientist

CCDC provides world-class structural chemistry data and software to scientists working in pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and functional materials. We are looking for an experienced Senior Cheminformatics Data Scientist to develop state of the art solutions for molecule discovery.

If you have:

• PhD in cheminformatics, computational chemistry, molecular modelling, or a closely related field.
• A solid understanding of cheminformatics approaches and their application to drug discovery projects.
• Demonstrable experience in drug discovery, such as implementing compound library designs, QSAR, docking, virtual screening, molecular fragmentation, structure-based drug design, pharmacophore generation and analysis, or multi-parameter optimisation.
• Competency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
• Experience with workflow applications and data analytics software (Pipeline Pilot, KNIME)
• Experience in processing and deriving novel insights from large chemical data resources.
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely.
